It’s a rule as old as time: Energy can neither be created nor destroyed. So where does that energy go? This program will demonstrate to students that energy has to go somewhere – not be lost forever. What object can act like a solid and a liquid at the same time? Oobleck, that’s what! Dr. Seuss was the man to name this non- Newtonian fluid with a high potential for fun. This educational program will explore the theme of Chemistry and, more specifically, focus on chemical changes. The exact number of experiments will vary depending on the student’s needs, abilities, and behavior, but we strive for 2-3 unique experiments under that category for a 60- minute program.
