Riverlife is honored that Shore Thing has been selected as a winner of the 2026 Urban Land Institute (ULI) Americas Awards for Excellence.

The awards recognize new developments that demonstrate excellence in “architecture, design, planning, construction, amenities, economics, and management” and “exhibit environmental sustainability, stewardship, and resiliency” among other criteria.

Riverlife is grateful to accept this honor for Shore Thing, a floating platform in the heart of Pittsburgh’s Sister Bridges that invites you to relax, recharge, and rediscover the city from the river itself.

Designed in collaboration with makers, creatives, and artists and rooted in Pittsburgh’s storied barge history, Shore Thing is a space for connection. Visitors can expect free yoga, fitness, live music, art workshops and moments of joy all summer long.
