SUMMARY:Intuitive Sound + Paint: Youth Pop Up with Tye Clarke
DESCRIPTION:Participants are invited to explore their senses through sound\, movement\, art making. Inspired by pratyahara — the practice of turning attention inward — young people are encouraged to experiment\, express themselves\, and tune into their imagination and emotions through creative play. Facilitators will be present to help guide activities\, though parents/guardians are asked to accompany their children. Activity kits will be provided while supplies last. Participants can work on them on-site in the designated craft area or take them home to finish. \nAll ages welcome; best suited for children ages 5+ \nMeet Tye: chronic sufferer of wanderlust\, Raja yoga instructor\, and lover of all things otherworldly. A multi-hyphenate creative\, experiential designer\, and creative wellness practitioner\, the Pittsburgh native crafts immersive environments\, interactive art\, and experiences that illuminate the intricacies of the human experience. \nHer work explores the power of play and joy as tools for collective and individual liberation\, rooted in the belief that courageous curiosity and creative experimentation help us access the most vibrant\, often forgotten\, parts of our humanity. \nWith a gift for outer vision and a passion for brand strategy\, Tye has helped shape and elevate cultural institutions like Radiant Hall and 1Hood Media. Through her brand\, gooxjy co.\, she works as a creative consultant\, conceptual artist\, and wellness practitioner\, curating brave spaces that foster unapologetic expression\, embodied creativity\, and the intimacy of details.
